Diabetic Foot Care & Assessment

We provide general diabetic foot care and assessments for those suffering from the condition. This ranges from general nail and skin care, to yearly assessments for diabetic related foot conditions

Diabetes Podiatry & Footcare

Blood flow and nerve function of the feet are tested with special instruments. These include a Doppler, monofilaments, tuning fork and reflex hammer.
People with diabetes can often be unaware they have a problem with their feet due to altered sensation / numbness or reduced blood flow to feet.

Pre Pointe Assessment

Pre pointe assessment is designed to evaluate a dancers readiness to transition into Pointe shoes. The strength, form and technique of a dancer is assessed to reduced risk of injury whilst on pointe.

A comprehensive treatment plan will be completed by Alicia that may include stretching/ strengthening program for dancers to improve their form and strength to gain approval for pointe work.

CAM Walker – Moon Boot

Cam Walkers – Moon Boots are a foot, ankle and leg splint designed to off load many foot and ankle pathologies such as stress fractures, ligament and tendon injuries that commonly occur during sporting games.
